The first thing developed was the 4S Industrial Park, which opened in the late 1998. Jobs in this area have fueled the demand for additional housing.
Most of the eventual 4,715 homes have been built. Development will continue until 2010. 4S Ranch has a variety of residences, both attached and detached homes, in a wide range of prices. As of 2009, 4S Ranch has just over 13,000 residents.
A $3 million Boys & Girls Club and a new fire station opened recently along with 4S Commons, a 53 acre shopping center and commercial district. A new Sheriff Department substation and a library are also open. ![]()
