Bernardo Heights
Bernardo
Heights is an upscale area of Rancho Bernardo built during the 1980s. It consists
of 19 subdivisions of single family detached homes, 9 condo complexes, and
3 apartment complexes. Bernardo Heights offers the widest array of housing
from 700 square foot condos to multi-million dollar custom homes.
All residents are served by the Bernardo Heights Community Center, which features a Junior Olympic swimming pool, exercise pool, spa, locker rooms, eight lighted tennis courts, exercise room, billiards room, meeting rooms, plus a kitchen. The main club is located on Avenida Venusto, just off Bernardo Heights Parkway.
Also part of the Bernardo Heights Community Center is Lucido Park, located at the northeast corner of Bernardo Heights Parkway and Paseo Lucido. Here residents enjoy four of the tennis courts, jogging track, picnic area, and a children’s playground.
In addition, some neighborhoods in Bernardo Heights have their own pool and spa. And there are seven different gate-guarded communities within Bernardo Heights.
Many of the homes and condos are built surrounding the Bernardo Heights Country Club golf course. This is a private members only facility but you don’t have to be a member to enjoy the beautiful views.
Rancho Bernardo High School and Bernardo Heights Middle School are conveniently located on Paseo Lucido in Bernardo Heights. Also, residents have easy access to shopping, restaurants, and services.
In short, “The Heights” is hard to beat!
