Seven Oaks
Seven Oaks is the original senior (55+) neighborhood in
Rancho Bernardo. It consists of about 1,700 detached houses and 400 condos
built between 1964-1973. These are the most affordable and some of the most
solidly built homes in Rancho Bernardo.
All Seven Oaks residences are single story structures and the general rule is low maintenance – lots of rocks, palms, and cacti but not much grass.
The
typical house has two bedrooms, two baths, and between 1200-1400 square feet
of living space. There are some three bedroom homes. And a few are two bedrooms
with a single bath. Houses in Seven Oaks have either one or two car garages.
There are two condo complexes in Seven Oaks – the Haciendas and the Villas. Both condo complexes have carports rather than garages.
One unique aspect of Seven Oaks is there are no monthly homeowner fees for the houses. There is only a mandatory club fee, currently $245 per year, which gives unlimited access to the Seven Oaks Club. Of course, there are monthly homeowner association fees for the Seven Oaks condos.
