High Country West

High Country West offers a combination of single story and two story detached homes plus duplex-style single family attached homes.

Located in the triangle formed by Camino del Norte, Bernardo Center Drive, and I-15, High Country West is one of the most popular family neighborhoods in all of Rancho Bernardo.

Almost all have stucco exteriors and tile roofs. This area was developed during the 1980s.

In addition, there is a condominium project called Villa Taviana.

One attraction for families with school-age children is the fact that their kids can walk to highly-rated Turtleback Elementary without crossing any main streets.

High Country West also has a terrific recreation center located on Turtleback Road plus a small shopping center at the corner of Maturin Drive and Bernardo Center Drive.
