Westwood

This was the first Rancho Bernardo neighborhood west of the I-15 freeway. Westwood was built between the early 70s and the late 80s.

There are both single family detached homes and duplex-style single family attached homes. In addition, there are condo complexes called Westwood Townhomes I & II.

Westwood offers easy access to the job centers in the industrial area of Rancho Bernardo.

This is one of the most popular family areas in Rancho Bernardo because is is very kid-friendly and you can get a little more house for your money here than on the other side of the freeway.

Westwood Elementary, on Matinal Drive, is one of the best schools in the Poway School District.

The Westwood Club is clearly family-oriented with swimming pool, spa, kiddie pool, playground, teen center, and the only indoor basketball gymnasium in Rancho Bernardo.
